Microsoft Windows 7 released

October 22, 2009 12:15 am CDT

Microsoft Corporation has released its flag ship operating system software - the Windows 7 today. Microsoft Windows 7 is the biggest bet for the company that has seen some bad review by the users and the media for its earlier release – the Windows Vista. Huge marketing campaigns including a special 7-day launch deals are planned as the mornings comes out to the US. The Australia and the European markets are buzzing with the software release material.

Microsoft appears to focus on two editions of the software – the Home and the Professional. An upgrade release is available for users of previous Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Vista. However, Windows XP users might have to re-install a number of old software that they are already using.

Another marketing mantra that Microsoft is using is the opening of its own retail stores – the first of which will be inaugurated at Scottsdale, Arizona. A Windows Café is opened in Paris.
